Tom Kapinos parla della seconda stagione

La prima stagione di Californication (Showtime) è terminata in maniera felice, ma, in occasione del lancio americano dei dvd della prima stagione, Tom Kapinos, creatore della serie, ha annunciato che la felicità non durerà.

“La seconda stagione, ha spiegato Kapinos, investigherà la vera natura dei finali felici, e se questi esistano veramente. Il motivo per cui ho scelto di chiudere la prima stagione su quel momento felice è perché nella seconda stagione la famiglia Moody sorriderà molto meno e dovrà fare i conti con la dura realtà“.
 
Tra i vari aspetti della dura realtà, Sonia (Paula Marshall), che ritorna con una “pagnotta nel forno” (ossia in attesa di un bambino, ndr) che potrebbe essere (ma anche no) di Hank: “Questo, anticipa Kapinos, creerà una frizione tra Hank e Karen nella prima parte della stagione”.
 
Tra le casting news, infine, Callum Keith Rennie (Battlestar Galactica) si unisce alla serie nel ruolo di produttore musicale, una sorta di Phil Spector che incontra Rick Rubin: l’uomo darà ad Hank un lavoro da sogno, scrivere la sua biografia: “Rennie funzionerà come il diavoletto sulla spalla, ha concluso Kapinos, riportando Hank alle cattive abitudini“.

ho appena finito di vedere le prime due puntate della seconda serie... devo dire che sono ben oltre le mie aspettative... mi piace di più della prima per ora!
