Secondo episodio: non capisco se i personaggi sono confusamente originali od originalmente confusi!! Certo che hanno crisi di idenità plurime nell'ambito anche della stessa discussione! un Gilmore Girls virato all'acido...

a me non ispirava per niente però ho provato a guardarlo e mi ha dato questa sensazione "mista".
Certo è che i genitori di Bay e la stessa Bay sono insostenibili, per cui con ben 3 personaggi principali che non posso vedere non credo mi spingerò oltre!

è in parte meno c*****a di altro, però ho talmente paura che diventi un brodino superbuonista che mi sento come se perdessi tempo ad andare oltre!

Intrigante ma molto meno trash rispetto il target di ABC family, agli inizi mi aspettavo una comedy poi visto il pilot ho cambiato totalmente idea

Alla terza puntata chiudo. Trovo madre e figlia della famiglia "ricca e viziata" stereotipate all'inverosimile e irritanti. L'attrice che fa Bay tra l'altro secondo me è monoespressiva da paura!

Non mi dispiace invece il filone inerente l'altra famiglia, più convincente il personaggio di Daphne, ma anche la simpatica nonna e l'orgogliosa Regina.

E' che il connubio, di per sè, mi fa storcere il naso, e ci sono punti in cui tutto sommato scorre, e altri in cui invece mi viene proprio l'istinto zapping .

Per cui, anche se di una leggera serie estiva avevo proprio voglia, direi che, se non vedo commenti entusiasti dei prossimi episodi  non vado oltre!

Povera Regina, nessuno ha capito la sua scelta, l'ha fatto per non complicare tutto invece vedi tu, l'unico invece che invece l'ha capita è il fratello di Bay

TO GIVE SERIES A FULL FIRST SEASON ORDER


 

Burbank, CA (August 1, 2011) – ABC Family has given a back-season order of 22 episodes to the network’s one-hour original drama, “Switched At Birth,” giving the break-out series a full first season order, Michael Riley, President, ABC Family has announced. ”Switched At Birth,” premiering Monday nights at 9:00PM ET/PT, will air its summer finale on Monday, August 8th. The series, which premiered this June with a 10-episode episode order, is scheduled to return in early 2012.

“Viewers have fallen in love with this show, just as we did when we first saw it,” said Riley. “We set out this year to bring viewers more original content than ever before, all with the trademarks of our bright, authentic, quality storytelling. We’re so thrilled to see this series become a break-out hit this summer and become a key component of our programming lineup into next year.”

“Switched At Birth” was recently honored as the recipient of AFTRA’s (American Federation of Television and Radio Artists) 2011 American Scene “Crystal” Award®” — the top individual television program honoree in this year’s competition — “for its groundbreaking and seamless inclusion of performers with disabilities, storylines that showcase new assistive technologies, and ethnic diversity.” The series has also been nominated by the Teen Choice Awards in the “Choice Summer TV Show” category; Katie Leclerc and Sean Berdy have been nominated in the “Choice TV: Breakout Star” category; Vanessa Marano in the “Choice Summer TV Star: Female” category; and Lucas Grabeel in the “Choice Summer TV Star: Male” category. “Switched At Birth” tells the story of two teenage girls who discover they were accidentally switched as newborns in the hospital. Bay Kennish grew up in a wealthy family with two parents and a brother, while Daphne Vasquez, who lost her hearing at an early age due to a case of meningitis, grew up with a single mother in a working class neighborhood. Things come to a dramatic head when both families meet and struggle to learn how to live together for the sake of the girls. Lizzy Weiss, Paul Stupin and John Ziffren serve as executive producers. “Switched At Birth” stars Katie Leclerc as Daphne Vasquez, Vanessa Marano as Bay Kennish, Constance Marie as Regina Vasquez, D.W. E' una serie molto carina! Inoltre l'anno prossimo frequenterò il corso di lingua dei segni italiana, quindi mi affascina anche per questo... Apprezzo anche il fatto che per i ruoli di persone sorde abbiano preso degli attori sordi, questo da un po' di realismo allo show, che altrimenti si sarebbe rivelato un po' una farsa...

Mi dispiace che indierocknroll abbia mollato  secondo me è una serie che merita, rispetto al solito livello trash della abc family.
Se anche io, come lei, ho iniziato il telefilm non sopportando Bay e piacendomi Daphne, alla fine mi sono ritrovata ad amare un sacco Bay soprattutto, lo ammetto, anche per la storia con Emmett, e invece ad odiare Daphne che non è altro che una ragazzina viziata e capricciosa che vuole tutto per sé. Ha rifiutato Emmett sin dall'inizio, o meglio ha fatto finta di non notare che lui era cotto di lei, ma quando lui stanco di stare dietro alla principessa sul pisello ha scelto di stare con Bay, ecco che la signorina decide che adesso lo vuole per sé.

Ah beh, se dovevi fare dei tagli... ti capisco. Più o meno, dovrei farlo anche io ma faccio troppa fatica a mollare qualcosa. A meno che una serie non mi faccia proprio schifo o addormentarmi, seguo tutto fino alla fine. 
Ma nemmeno Gilles Marini ti convince?
