Season 2 starts off with a great episode, directed by, and guest-starring Tim Matheson. He also directed the series pilot of Covert Affairs. I'm not allowed to tell you too much about the episodes I've seen, but I can give you some tidbits to whet your whistles. The episode centers on bank heist that the FBI knows is coming in advance. Peter and Neal's banter is as enjoyable to watch as ever. Mozzie has some fun with Peter. Team members go and team members come. We get the first taste of the next chapter of the mythology, and it is surprising.

Neal Caffrey pronto a vendicarsi nella seconda stagione di White Collar

Matt Bomer ha rivelato nuovi dettagli dalla seconda stagione di White Collar, che sarà trasmessa negli USA a partire dal prossimo 13 luglio.
Bomer tornerà a interpretare il truffatore professionista (diventato collaboratore dell’FBI) Neal Caffrey e nelle nuove puntate lo vedremo desideroso di vendetta. La prima stagione, infatti, si concludeva con la scena in cui la sua fidanzata Kate (l’attrice Alexandra Daddario), saliva su un jet privato che esplodeva proprio poco prima che anche lui salisse a bordo.

Bomer ha descritto Neal come un “romantico duro a morire” e in un’intervista a Entertainment Weekly ha dichiarato: “L’amore della sua vita è appena morta, quindi lui ovviamente è a pezzi. È anche un tipo molto proattivo e non se ne starà seduto a piangere. Cercherà i responsabili e il miglior modo per vendicare la morte di lei. Questo sarà il suo obiettivo nella nuova stagione”.
Nonostante il suo essere disperatamente romantico, l’attore ha anche lasciato intuire che i produttori potrebbero trovargli un nuovo amore: “La cosa bella di Neal è che non rinuncia mai alla possibilità di flirtare. Non importa cosa sta succedendo, se c’è una bella ragazza in giro, lui va fino in fondo. E questo gli rende la giornata decisamente più interessante”.
